We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager/Internal Accountant to join our not-for-profit organisation on a part-time, permanent basis. The mode of delivery for this role is flexible and can be adjusted to suit the ideal candidate - work-from-home arrangements encouraged, provided collaboration with colleagues and support of your team is facilitated. This role offers an excellent balance for professionals seeking a meaningful position within the community services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all financial functions, including accounts payable, payroll processing for a team of over 100 staff, and the preparation of monthly financial statements.
* Prepare financial acquittals for funding contracts and support budgeting and planning activities.
* Manage expenditure for services and operations, ensuring efficiency and financial health.
* Provide financial reporting to the CEO & Board of Directors.
About You:
* Relevant qualifications and experience in accounting or financial management.
* Familiarity with not-for-profit financial reporting is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
