About the role Based at any of our head office locations, this 12 month fixed term, full time Process Improvement Specialist Role forms part of a function that reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will form a key influence in the Operational Excellence Function that focuses on supporting process efficiency and compliance, customer experience enhancements, financial returns for the enterprise and improving the employee experience. In this role, you will focus on driving operational excellence through the application of Lean, Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies. The primary purpose of the role is to use both quantitative and qualitative approaches to uncover the root cause of bottlenecks, identify opportunities for automation, design and implement future state processes and work with our automation partners as required to deliver solutions that help reduce task and overall process time. Your role will include primary duties such as Delivering benefits for process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma techniques and conducting detailed analysis to understand the root cause of problems. Furthermore, you will develop solutions to resolve process issues and document current and future state process maps, whilst conducting gap analysis and change impact assessment You will develop and implements solutions and confirms delivery of the benefits using the program tracker report whilst managing the change associated with the improved process. Lastly. you will establish controls to ensure that the improvements are established as the new way of working whilst ensure time savings are reported in a timely and accurate manner As our next Process Improvement Specialist you will bring: Experience following a DMAIC or similar framework. Experience with process modelling tools, Ability to effectively model in BPMN 2.0 A desire to achieve tangible and measurable results. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good statistical analysis Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment. High level of attention to detail.
