Job Summary
We are seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Knox Private Hospital. As a key member of our Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working in a critical care environment and hold a post-graduate qualification in critical care nursing or be willing to work towards it in the future.

About us
Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 295 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 31 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
Our dedicated, 14 Bed, standalone Intensive Care Unit has a highly skilled team caring for patients with acute surgical, cardiac and medical procedures and conditions. Supported by an education team, we provide ongoing training and development, including post-graduate education and advanced practice courses. Our Intensive Care Liaison Nurse provides additional resource within the department and outreach support for the broader hospital.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centred patient care
2. Demonstrate professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's policies and processes
3. Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices
4. Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the healthcare continuum
5. Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes
Minimum Requirements:
1. Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care/Intensive Care, or 3 years' experience in ICU
2. Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
3. Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
4. Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
5. Flexibility to work a full rotating roster

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the 'Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025' (salaries range between $34.56 and $46.22 per hour).
