It provides a unique blend of rural lifestyle and cultural richness for both residents and visitors alike.The clinic: The clinic offers a range of clinical health services, including Aboriginal health checks (for men, women, and children) and referrals to appropriate specialist and allied health services. The team is comprised of:General PractitionersAboriginal Health WorkersRegistered and Enrolled NursesMidwivesMaternal and Child Health NurseAs the Practice Nurse, you will deliver evidence-based nursing care within a Registered Nurse scope of practice; that includes pathology collection, electrocardiogram (ECG), immunisation, wound care, and spirometry testing.Some of your other tasks will involve:Deliver client services that ensure safety and quality of careLiaise with the Allied Health Coordinator and Care Coordinator regarding service delivery and programsProvide clinical services at approved service centres which include: Triage, Health assessments and chronic disease conditions screening, Referral (internal services and external)Planning and management of client care and advocacyConducting preventative/screening proceduresClient education and community health promotion activitiesComplete electronic medical records that include client records, recall and reminders, Medicare claims, organisational reporting requirements.Requirements for this role:Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictionsMinimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in Primary Health careInterested in applying?
