The Role We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Development Representative to grow our business, nurture client relationships, and uncover new opportunities. This role involves regular client meetings, attending industry events, and identifying new business prospects. Work Environment: Primarily field-based with a showroom in Mornington available for meetings. Travel Expectations: Frequent travel within South East Melbourne and the Mornington area. What’s on Offer? Part-time role – Approximately 20 hours per week over 4 days Competitive OTE: $32,000 – $42,000 per year plus superannuation and approx. $6K car allowance Coverage Area – South East Melbourne, including the Mornington area Showroom Base in Mornington for client meetings and product demonstrations Autonomous role with flexibility and room to make an impact Key Responsibilities Business Growth – Identify and secure new business through networking and lead generation. Client Engagement – Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs. Sales & Account Management – Drive sales, manage key accounts, and identify upselling opportunities. Market Insights – Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity. Sales Reporting – Maintain accurate sales records and CRM data. What You Need to Succeed Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Background in construction, building materials, or interior design is highly regarded. Strong knowledge of sales processes, lead generation, and account management. Proficiency in CRM systems & Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
