Melbourne Pathology is seeking applications for Anatomical Pathologists to join our team, led by Drs John Ciciulla and Tiffany Symes, with positions available in the main laboratory in Collingwood and hospital-based laboratories in Malvern (Cabrini) and Geelong (Epworth). There are flexible employment opportunities, but with a preference for full-time employment. Early to late career fellows, and registrars completing fellowship in early 2025, are welcome to apply.Our histopathology departments handle a high proportion of sub-specialty hospital-based cases and offer career development and mentorship. We have openings for developing expertise in various subspecialties, including hematopathology, uropathology, thoracic pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, hepatobiliary pathology, head/neck pathology, neuropathology, breast pathology, gynecological pathology, and others. We will also provide support for those interested in specialising in dermatopathology. Additionally, there are opportunities to participate in national collaborations on digital, AI, and advanced structured pathology reporting projects, as well as to attend a biannual national Sonic Pathologists conference.The successful applicant will enjoy a collegiate environment amongst a large team of experienced and highly regarded pathologists and will assist in the provision of histopathology and cytopathology services, clinical multidisciplinary meetings, and registrar training. We are supportive of new fellows, with a dedicated pathway to independent reporting.
