About the role The Manufacturing Manager is a Full-Time position, based at Wetherill Park, NSW. Reporting to Operations Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing process; plans and manages details of production activities in terms of output, quality, quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements. In this role, you will: Lead and manage the manufacturing team (24/hr x 7 days a week operation). Drive a Zero Harm Environment by championing a Never Walk Past Culture across site. Lead, participate and collaborate with the WCM team to implement World Class Manufacturing on site and into our day-to-day activities. Demonstrate constructive leadership, building a team of accountable people who can deliver the business goals, whilst role modelling the CSR behaviours. Maintains strong relations with trade unions to support a positive industrial relations environment. Participate, lead and implement site enterprise agreements. Responsibilities include but not limited strategic planning, overall cost management, operating structure, and capacity. Oversee all maintenance activities across site to ensure alignment with production schedules and organisational objectives. What you bring to the role A strong commitment to safety awareness Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Degree or experience in a manufacturing environment. Leadership & motivational experience & knowledge (people person) Knowledge & Production experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement program Problem solving ability with attention to detail.
