A dynamic and driven Business Development Manager is required to lead the WA operations towards achieving sales targets in line with the head office based in South Australia. The successful applicant will be working for a leading provider of construction solution products with an unrivalled reputation built on service and delivery.
As a true BDM role, the successful candidate will be primarily focused on seeking new opportunities within the Perth Metropolitan area. To ensure your success in the role, you will be given full internal support from the experienced sales support team. Being mentored by an exceptional management team based out of Perth and Adelaide, this role will have a direct impact on the commercial success and growth of the organisation.
Working on some of the biggest commercial construction projects across, Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory, this role has huge growth opportunities to replicate the successes seen in the South Australian branch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a range of existing customers and new accounts
* Active Business Development within the construction market to provide solutions within the Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Fire sectors
* Identify needs and offer customised product solutions
* Build long-term trusting relationships
* Providing overflow support to the customer service team
* Keep up with industry and current product knowledge
* Provide end to end sales solutions
Key Requirements:
* Experience within the construction industry is beneficial
* Ability to build rapport with a range of site managers, project managers, building trades and architects
* Track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets
* Sound communication both written and verbal
* A positive track record of delivering exceptional levels of customer service
* Adaptable, humble, driven and a team player
