Cyber Security Engineer Role
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing secure cloud and network solutions to mitigate cyber risks.
Working closely with the Cyber Security team, you will provide engineering guidance, ensure compliance, and deploy cutting-edge security architectures.
Your work will have a tangible impact on the safety and resilience of critical digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design & Implement: Develop secure architectures for cloud and on-premise systems, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data.
* Threat Mitigation: Analyze and respond to intrusion attempts, implement countermeasures, and stay ahead of evolving threats.
* Incident Response: Create and refine incident response processes to ensure swift recovery during security events.
* Secure Code & Systems: Identify vulnerabilities in codebases and ensure secure application development.
* Advanced Tools: Deploy and manage state-of-the-art security tools across various platforms.
* Compliance Assurance: Ensure all initiatives meet industry standards like IRAP, ISO27001, NIST, and ACSC ISM.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in Cyber Security, with expertise in cloud security engineering and threat management.
* Cloud Mastery: Extensive experience in Azure and AWS, including tools like Azure Security Centre, AWS Security Hub, and Sentinel.
* IaC Skills: Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Scepter, Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipeline development.
* Advanced Networking: Skilled in cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNET), firewalls, and hosted SASE platforms like Netskope.
* Programming: Strong skills in PowerShell and Python for automation and security monitoring.
