National Account Manager - Independents & Foodservice

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a National Account Manager – Independents, Foodservice & NZ.
This is a strategic yet hands-on role, where you will drive growth through distributors and strengthen the organisation’s presence across these key channels.
Given the strategic importance of this role, you will report directly to the General Manager ANZ and benefit from strong support both locally and across the region.
Responsibilities
* Development and execution of annual joint business plans per customer to drive business objectives
* Develop, negotiate and execute pricing and promotional programs within investment guidelines to optimise trade spend and commercial return
* Drive the Category Review presentation process to ensure the business is at the forefront of each respective category and delivering to both Organisation and Customer objectives
* Understand market dynamics, identify and prioritise opportunities by customer. Lead customer acquisition with objective to grow the business via account base penetration
* Lead the field sales team to drive in store excellence by planning, communicating, and measuring results.
* Identify opportunities and drive customer acquisition across all channels: Retail and FS
Qualifications
* Experience in FMCG is a must
* Experience working within Independent Grocery and/or Foodservice
* Must have dealt with Distributors
* Strong commercial and analytical capabilities - financial and utilising data sets
