Pharmacist part time Make an impact at Serco This is a part-time Pharmacist role working Monday to Friday 0930 to 1400. As a Pharmacist, you’ll make a positive impact by: You will be responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical, medical and dental logistic services to patients in accordance with all relevant Laws, professional standards and Defence Policies and Procedures. You will undertake clinical tasks including but not limited to dispensing services, inventory management, promoting safe and effective use of medications to patients and providing technical advice and training to health practitioners. About ADF Health Services In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45 on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. About Enoggera Enoggera Health Centre is located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, and provides support to Gallipoli, Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks. Established in 1908, this modern military base currently spans 600 hectares with approximately 8000 members. The largest base in South Queensland, it incorporates the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters, a major manoeuvre formation, local support facilities and a range of training facilities. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend shifts). Please note: If this location is not close to where you reside, we may have flexible working arrangements available including FIFO, hybrid, and locum options. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum 2 years full-time post trainee/internship experience in the last 5 years within a Defence, Hospital or Community Pharmacy (or part-time equivalent) Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification Membership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or Society of Hospital Pharmacists (desirable) Please note: You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role. You don’t need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on-base and your job stays here, even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
