Occupational Therapist (Temporary Full Time)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Eyre & Far North Region. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential therapy services to multiple communities, working both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes and enhance the well-being of local residents.
The successful candidate will be required to reside in any of the following communities: Port Lincoln, Elliston, Streaky Bay, Ceduna, Coober Pedy, Wudinna, Cleve, Cowell, Kimba, Tumby Bay or Cummins.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, implement, and evaluate Occupational Therapy services for rural and remote communities.
* Work independently with minimal clinical direction, addressing diverse community health needs.
* Supervise and guide less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across health and service sectors.
* Deliver therapy, early intervention, health promotion, and community development services.
* Provide regional services across multiple Eyre & Far North communities on a rostered schedule.
* Promote community health through education and engagement.
About the Role:
This is a Temporary Full Time position available up to 31 December 2025. The base salary for this role is $68,478 - $102,240 per annum, AHP1/2.

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is responsible for the planning and delivery of hospital and health services over 337,626 square kilometres, taking in the Eyre Peninsula, western part of South Australia and north to Coober Pedy.
We are one of the largest LHNs by area in Australia and communities include Ceduna, Cleve, Coober Pedy, Cowell, Cummins, Elliston, Kimba, Oodnadatta, Port Lincoln, Streaky Bay, Tumby Bay and Wudinna.
Services include acute care, medical, accident and emergency, surgery, birthing and midwifery, specialist consultancy, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, transfusions, rehabilitation, residential and community aged care, respite care, transitional care packages, Aboriginal health, mental health, allied health, community health, community nursing, palliative care, community home support packages and home modifications.
What We're Looking For:
* Must hold a recognised qualification within Occupational Therapy and meet all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration with AHPRA.
* AHP1 Provide a broad range of clinical services, using well-established methods and procedures.
* AHP2 Apply professional expertise, developing generalist or specialist knowledge, clinical competence, and experience to provide services in complex practice settings.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates must demonstrate their ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
The selected applicant will be required to undergo a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
