Are you a passionate and experienced chef ready to take the lead in a dynamic and professional kitchen environment? The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking a Head Chef to manage and elevate the culinary experience at the Kalgoorlie Golf Course.
About the Role:
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, including:
* Menu development with fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients
* Overseeing kitchen staff, training, and rostering
* Ensuring exceptional food quality and service
* Managing stock control, purchasing, and cost efficiency
* Adhering to all food safety and health regulations
* Collaborating on functions and events
About You:
* To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A qualification in Hospitality, Commercial Cooking, or a related field
* A minimum of five years of experience as a chef
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent knowledge of food safety and OH&S regulations
* A passion for delivering high-quality dishes and memorable dining experiences
* A Food Safety Supervisor certificate and Senior First Aid certification
* A valid National Police Clearance and a WA "C" Class driver's licence
