About the role:
AssetOn is currently recruiting experienced and capable Maintenance Planners to join our client's operations within the mining sector. This role offers a diverse range of analytical problem-solving responsibilities, allowing you to enhance your expertise in fixed plant equipment management.
You will be responsible for:
1. Supporting planning and scheduling functions, with a focus on fixed plant assets
2. Monitoring operational competency and condition monitoring
3. Leading the development of asset management strategies
4. Maintenance budgeting and reporting
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance planning, specifically utilising SAP
2. Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Electrical, or Diesel Fitting
3. A thorough understanding of preventative maintenance principles
4. Experience in maintenance budgeting and reporting is highly regarded
5. Full working rights in Australia
6. Preference given to candidates based in Darwin or Cairns, as FIFO travel is available from these locations
