Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely. Major Responsibilities: Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff within the area of responsibility. Role supports on mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders' involvement. PlanningMonitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements. Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements. Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules. Safety / QualityMonitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements. Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management. TechnicalSupports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents. Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals. Coordinates with Design on constructability issues. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: A good understanding of safety and quality and the risks associated with working around live infrastructure. A good understanding of contract formation and management. Experience with overhead transmission line installation, upgrades and operations. Experience with switchgear and switchgear upgrades. Prior management or supervision of major contracts.
