Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a People & Culture Officer to join us on a 12-month contract. We are searching for a HR generalist who can bring their proactive problem solving and analytic skills into our small team. It's important that you have a high-level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet multiple deadlines while providing support across multiple services (currently 8 services, 3 programs). OnboardingFollow the successful candidates through to their first 6 months of onboarding and training. Employment mattersBe the first point of contact for all HR related inquiries, providing support, advice, and guidance to management with regards to employee poor performance, disciplinary matters and employee grievances ensuring best practice and company procedures are followed.Have a strong understanding of employment legislation and compliance; interpret and give advice on awards and EBA, classification and salaries. You'll be the administrator and owner of our HRIS, Employment Hero.
Identify and implement efficiencies within the HR space.
Responsible for ongoing coordination of Aspire Awards program.
Support People & Culture Manager with various ongoing projects.
To thrive in this position, you should possess:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar HR related role and sound experience across HR functions.
Experience with Employment Hero platform.
