Based in our Queensland office, you will manage Geotechnical and Site staff, drive culture and direction, and ensure the section’s ongoing profitability and strategic growth.Key responsibilities include:Supervising and mentoring drillers, laboratory staff, and classifiers to maintain quality and efficiency.Driving operational consistency and implementing industry best practices.Staying updated on industry advancements and applying new methodologies where relevant.Providing technical expertise in site classification and geotechnical assessments.Collaborating with senior management to set and achieve section goals and objectives.Communicating with clients regarding potential project delays and proposing solutions.Ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.Offering technical guidance within the scope of expertise while working under senior management.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project records.Supporting documentation and reporting related to geotechnical assessments.Conducting geotechnical site inspections as necessary.Who We’re Looking For - We are seeking a leader who embodies our values—someone with high personal standards of accountability and quality, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have:A completed Civil/Structural Engineering degree recognized by Engineers Australia (highly desirable).A minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in the construction industry.Strong technical knowledge in site classification and geotechnical assessments.The ability to supervise and mentor technical teams.Effective client management and problem-solving skills.A strong client focus and desire to deliver practical, sustainable, and effective engineering solutions.Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.A valid Construction White Card and Driver’s Licence.Flexibility and a willingness to travel interstate as required.Why Join Structerre?
