About the Role You will have the following key duties: Complex case management of year level students who demonstrate severe and challenging behaviours.
Provision of timetabled programs (XLZ) and other proactive behaviour support and engagement strategies (including those delivered by non-teaching support staff) for year level students.
Liaising with support personnel inside and outside of the school to increase the scope of intervention for year level students.
Liaising with parents and carers of year level students regarding welfare, well-being, behaviour, engagement and support issues.
Supporting year level teachers to increase the scope of pedagogical and behavioural strategies used to increase student engagement, through formal professional development, classroom visits and informal support.
Monitor and review attendance data of year level students and provide relevant intervention.
Development, analysis and distribution of cohort datasets relating to student behaviour and engagement.
Whole-school implementation of Positive Relationships for Learning (PRL).
Leadership of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Programs and Management of Student Support staff (Engagement classes, Hands on Learning, XLZ, Rock and Water).
Leadership of Year 8 Pathways & Wellbeing program with Year Coordinator (aligned with PRL and Respectful Relationships).
