Make an impact on the lives of Central Queenslanders experiencing mental illness!Joining our Adult Inpatient Unit presents a new challenge where you'll work as a multi-disciplinary team to provide compassionate care to patients with complex needs, the perfect mix to develop your autonomy and leadership skills.Help us deliver care to the Central Queensland community - apply today!The Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to the residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands & Banana areas (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area.The Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service works in collaboration with the Adult Mental Health Inpatient and Acute Care Teams, Primary Health as well as community and private sector providers to reduce symptoms of mental illness and facilitate recovery.About the role:This role involves delivering nursing care in the Adult Inpatient Unit for Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs Services, with responsibility for delegating tasks and exercising increasing autonomy in care delivery, ensuring evidence-based practices and patient rights are upheld.About you:Current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Demonstrate knowledge of relevant standards, clinical guidelines and advanced clinical practice related to quality, patient safety and risk.Ability to undertake clinical and non-clinical audits, assist with system review and education and training related to Quality and Safety under the direction of CQ Health's Safety and Quality Unit team.Ability to establish and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members.What we offer:Permanent / TemporaryTotal remuneration value of up to $121,106 p.a. is comprised of:An hourly rate between $41.73 - $53.53 p.h.12.75% employer superannuation contribution17.5% leave loadingCasualAn hourly rate between $51.33 - $65.84 p.h.
