AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.Would you like to be part of a team that is redefining the IT industry?Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a dynamic results oriented candidate to join as the Partner Manager, as part of the Partner Management team in ANZ.As the Partner Manager within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS' services and solutions within the portfolio of partners and solution providers.Your broad responsibilities will include helping to define and execute against partner programs, establishing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these organizations in order to build long-term business and marketing opportunities.The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CXO/VP level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects.You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.Key job responsibilities- Serve as a key member of the ANZ Partner Management team, managing a mixed portfolio of National SIs and Global ISV Partners.- Have a broad based understanding of cloud technologies.- Maintain a business plan which is focused on key GTM activities which will accelerate your Partners business productivity with co-selling with AWS sales teams.- Work with key stakeholders within AWS to ensure your Partner is receiving the requisite level of exposure and advocacy.- Work with your Partners in developing key differentiated solutions and capabilities to take to market.- Work closely with Partners and AWS in creating and accelerating pipeline by engaging with Partner Sales and AWS Sales teams.- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress against budgeted plan and any potential roadblocks to closing new customers- Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of the market strategyA day in the life- Maintain regular weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence with Partners. - Set up and assist to execute the GTM plans which are highest propensity for the Partners' capability in alignment with sales teams and PSMs. - Maintain pipeline reviews and balanced book of business for the achievement of the financial goals of the Partners. -
