This will occur through best-in-class delivery and ensuring high-quality customer experience across all football and fan engagement programs.A DAY IN THE LIFE OFKey Accountabilities :Support junior clubs and Auskick centers with recruitment, volunteers, coaching, protocols, promotion and venue hire.Drive program bookings to achieve aspirational growth targets.Deliver and run a variety of AFL programs in either school or after-school time. Programs could be school curriculum linked, Auskick, Superkick, all-abilities or others.Conduct promotional activities to meet participant targets e.g. school assemblies and other promotional activities.Ensure each program is delivered in line with the program curriculum and all participants can participate in a safe, friendly & fun environment.Liaise with teachers, schools and other program stakeholders.Facilitate AFL player visits and fan engagement activities.Contribute to key projects within and outside of core role.Support and contribute to the success of the broader team.Core CompetenciesAbility to identify problems and provide quality solutions.Well-developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation skills.Experience working with children and young people.Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised.Ability to work autonomously with strong organization and planning skills.A fun and enthusiastic nature with a passion for working with children.Excellent relationship and stakeholder engagement.Demonstrated ability to work with volunteers and club committees.Ability to adapt to change, remain effective and calm when faced with changing tasks, responsibilities, or people.Valid WWCC (or the ability to obtain one) and Drivers License.Child Safety StandardsThe AFL has a commitment to ensure we provide professional, safe and enjoyable environments to children and young people who participate in our game.
