Snr Coordinator Educational Partnerships
This role will lead innovative outreach programs that inspire students to pursue higher education, delivering programs that familiarise participants of diverse backgrounds with higher education, inform their aspirations to access and participate in higher education, and build their confidence to achieve through academic and study discipline immersion.
* Develop and deliver tailored outreach programs for secondary school students.
* Provide academic and pathway support to students, particularly those undertaking VCE (VM).
* Build and manage partnerships with schools, VET providers, and community organisations, and deliver outreach programs to these groups.
* Lead and mentor student leaders delivering outreach engagement activities.
* Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, contributing to La Trobe's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Program Development: Develop and implement innovative activities that raise achievement, awareness, and higher education aspirations, particularly for under-represented students.
* Program Management: Manage events, projects, and programs related to educational partnerships.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with diverse stakeholders, including schools, teachers, and community groups.
* Leadership: Lead and mentor student leaders delivering outreach engagement activities.
* Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, contributing to the university's strategic goals.
Requirements
* A formal teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, M.Ed) or equivalent experience.
* Proven ability to develop, implement, and refine innovative activities that raise achievement, awareness, and higher education aspirations, particularly for under-represented students.
* Proven experience in program/event management.
* Strong ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including schools, teachers, and community groups.
* Demonstrated commitment to social justice and breaking down barriers to higher education.
