About the role
A typical candidate would be responsible for:
1- Examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
2- Follow up on patient treatment, condition, and patient's progress with other health care providers.
3- Requesting, reviewing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, including radiology, pathology, and assessing and amending treatment plans accordingly.
4- Referring patients to emergency departments, hospitals, medical specialists, and allied health practitioners as necessary and following up on the treatments provided.
5- Monitoring patient's condition, progress, responses to treatment, and providing individual care plans as needed.
6- Advising patients on lifestyle choices, such as diet, exercise, and other as needed for the patients' well being.
7- Admissions to hospitals when needed

Skills and experience
o Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (or equivalent) is required
o Holder of Applicable Registration with the AHPRA to practice
o 5+ Years of Experience in a clinical setting in General Practice or a hospital setting (ED, ICU, or RMO) is required (Australian experience as a Medical Practitioner is preferred)
