At InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort we are looking for Maintenance Officer to join our team. Your day to day - Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will conduct general maintenance to the Resort in accordance with company standards and be able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures. You will be a proactive individual who can communicate easily with all team members, stakeholders, and guests and has an excellent eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines. Always promoting IHG and company values. Proactively showing initiative with ideas and problem solving. Working as needed to assist the wider Engineering team. Organising supplies and ensuring equipment is ready for the next day. Work with key stakeholders across the Resort to develop and maintain cohesive working relationships within immediate the immediate team and wider resort team. To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and Duty of Care, and observe these meticulously at all times. Ensure our IHG brand and company policies and procedures are upheld at all times. Assist the Engineering Department with any routine and maintenance duties as directed by the Director of Engineering. Cooperate and partner with management in the implementation of workplace health, safety and wellbeing related initiatives. Attend and participate in daily briefings, meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
