Our strategy is to focus on creating a safe work environment where our employees feel strongly connected to our values and objectives, and where the capability of our people is key to our success.Come and be a part of this success.About the RoleAs the Specialist Reliability Engineer, you will drive the creation of all the required maintenance strategies based on RCM/FMECA methodologies for the Western Ridge Crusher Project in accordance with MECOE BHP Strategy Development guidelines, statutory obligations, and maintainability aspects.These positions will report to the Lead Operational Readiness Asset Integration – WA Major Projects and will be one of the primary interfaces between the EPC vendor, operations, and BHP business functions. Key Accountabilities include:Engages with Master Data Specialist to drive the creation of SAP Technical Object Structures and Functional Locations.Engages with Projects, MECoE and site operational teams to conduct Asset Criticality Assessments as per BHP requirements.Engages with Projects team and other BHP stakeholders (WAIO GTS, Site GTS, MECoE Asset Strategy & Reliability, site Reliability) to obtain relevant technical information and develop RCM/FMECA based maintenance strategies in APM.Engages with Projects team and other BHP stakeholders to develop all required asset management registers (e.g. BCEI, Confined Space, Anchor Point).About YouAs a successful candidate you will possess the following:Demonstrated experience working as Reliability Engineer/ Specialist in Mechanical projects.Experience creating and managing maintenance strategies for BHP, with APM.A Degree in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering), or tertiary or trade qualifications in relevant maintenance field(s).Experience in managing maintenance strategies in SAP and APM is highly desirable.Familiar with Work Management processes to easily identify similar strategies across Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO).Familiar with Systems and tools used to identify equipment criticality and create master data.Familiar with Risk Management tools (e.g. Material Risk Framework, Equipment Criticality) used to manage maintenance strategies.Confident with seeking further information to ensure understanding where required.Confident with seeking guidance when lacking direction or information, and with escalating risks and issues to team leaders.Strong attention to detail.LocationYou will be primarily Perth based, with planned site visits to ensure deliverables are meeting stakeholder expectations throughout the project phases.You will be working on a Monday-Friday roster.
