We are now looking for a passionate Chef to lead our kitchen and drive culinary excellence.
About the Role
As Chef, you'll be the creative force behind our menu development, food quality, and kitchen operations. Your creativity, leadership, and expertise will shape our dining experience and make Buchan Caves Hotel a go-to destination for great food.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design seasonal menus and create signature dishes that showcase local produce.
• Lead and train our kitchen staff to maintain high-quality service and uphold our standards.
• Oversee ordering, stock rotation, and minimise wastage to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP and food safety standards at all times.
• Craft delicious, high-quality meals that exceed customer expectations and keep them coming back.
What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and train a team.
• Expertise in menu planning, cost control, and kitchen management.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP) and dietary requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A passion for using local produce, great food, and a desire to be part of a historic community venue.
