The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our Finance team.
This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring seamless payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently manage and deliver end-to-end payroll for 183 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant legislation.
* Calculate, check, and process commissions, bonuses, and maintain commission statements.
* Process superannuation payments for all employees on a monthly basis, including salary sacrifice contributions.
* Accurately calculate, report, and pay PAYG withholding and Payroll Tax by due dates.
* Handle annual payroll tasks such as PAYG Payment Summaries, Taxable Payments Reports, FBT, Q Leave, Payroll Tax Annual Returns, and assist with WGEA reporting and year-end audits.
* Resolve payroll-related inquiries promptly and accurately, providing exceptional support to employees.
* Maintain and manage employee records, including onboarding, offboarding, and updating payroll data.
* Reconcile payroll accounts and generate detailed reports for management.
