About the role:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team in Cairns, supporting Norsta Maritime and the Hydrographic Vessels.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for meticulous planning and scheduling under the Regional Maintenance Provider - North East (RMP-NE).
This position is highly rewarding, as it plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of the Navy’s Patrol and Hydrographic capabilities.
Please note: This role is based in Cairns. Relocation assistance will be available to the successful applicant, subject to terms and conditions.
What will you be involved in:
1. Preparing and delivering comprehensive planning and scheduling services
2. Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
3. Analysing maintenance requirements from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure compliance and optimal performance
4. Collaborating with scheduling and maintenance teams within the RMP to effectively resolve any issues that arise
5. Assisting in the development of Australian Industry Content (AIC) for RMP NE and contributing to the regional development of skills in the maritime sustainment industry by participating in industry and career events
6. Developing risk management plans by identifying potential risks and creating mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines and objectives are met without significant disruptions
7. Coordinating stakeholder engagement by facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
What we would like from You:
8. Australian Citizenship with an active Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance
9. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Planner
10. Significant experience in using planning tools such as Microsoft Project
11. Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable)
