Position Overview: The Legal Administrator provides specialized administrative support to the legal team within an insolvency and restructuring law firm. This role involves managing legal documentation, coordinating communications with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with insolvency regulations and legal procedures. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insolvency processes, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and maintain legal documents related to insolvency and restructuring matters. Manage and organize case files, ensuring accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval. Coordinate meetings, deadlines, and court dates for the legal team. Liaise with clients, creditors, insolvency practitioners, and regulatory bodies. Assist in drafting and filing legal forms, affidavits, and statutory reports. Conduct legal research on insolvency legislation and case precedents. Ensure compliance with insolvency regulations, legal deadlines, and court procedures. Maintain confidentiality and securely handle sensitive financial and legal information. Process invoices, track case-related expenses, and assist with financial reporting. Provide general administrative support, including correspondence management and file maintenance. Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum [X] years of experience in a legal administrative role, preferably in insolvency or restructuring. Familiarity with insolvency legislation, procedures, and legal documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with legal case management software is an advantage.
