Your new company Join an Australian FMCG company in their operations team as a supply chain planner. Working for a company that supplies over 1000 stores across ANZ. Initially on a 3-month temporary basis with the potential for extension to 6 months. Your new role In your new role as Supply Chain Planner, your key responsibilities will include: Manage order placements into multiple categories in clients' warehouses Develop and / or maintain strong supplier relationships with the aim of ensuring strong synergies between supplier and client supply chains. Manage a strong relationship with the companys trading teams and act as a subject-matter expert on supply planning within the companies supply chain Assist suppliers and in house teams in ensuring supplier changeovers, product changes, and other potential supply disruptions are seamless in execution. Communicate key information to suppliers across forecast plans and supply plans on a scheduled basis Drive and deliver on inventory, service and cost outcomes in line with KPIs and company strategy. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated understanding of supply chain planning, production, inventory control and logistics. Exposure to a fast-paced environment such as FMCG or manufacturing will be highly regarded, as well as any relevant qualifications. Strong systems skills, with competency in MS Excel and ERP systems experience are preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical ability, a continuous improvement mindset, and demonstrated capacity to work well in a team. Ability to prioritise effectively and manage many stakeholders Experience or understanding of forecasting and experience in using forecast tools are preferred. In a well-established team, working in one of Australias largest FMCG businesses in the consumer goods space. The role is Monday to Friday, paying circa $50 an hour depending on level of capability and experience. This role has flexible working arrangements after the initial training period.
