THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting 12 month Max term opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our talented People & Corporate Services team. We are open to a full time or part time resource.
This role will require you to work closely with a Senior HR Business Partner to drive and support the end-to-end HR Service delivery across the employee life cycle. In addition, you will provide support to the HR team to ensure successful and effective HR operational efficiencies are delivered to drive business performance, engagement and organisational effectiveness aligned to our business objectives. We need someone having extensive experience in performance management, manager coaching and grievance management.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is a self-starter. We employ a hybrid working charter with flexible working options and 3 days/ week office attendance.
We are open to considering candidates from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with first line managers to provide advice and guidance on HR related issues, including employee relations, performance management, HR policies and procedures, flexible work requests, duty of care cases and probation terminations
* Deliver core HR practices providing accurate timely services for leadership activities (performance review, IDP, employee relations)
* Manage employee grievances and conduct investigations following the relevant HR policy and process
* Partner with talent acquisition, remuneration and benefits, L&D and HRSS to improve HR service delivery
* Support the Senior HR Business Partner with Sales & Solutions Division projects and link back to overall strategy
* Partner with the People Ops team to manage and coordinate operational requests such as secondment extensions, employee adhoc letters, payslip requests, parental leave, employee offboarding process
Skills & Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience of working in a HR environment with solid commercial and business understanding
* Knowledge of employment law and application
* Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and deliver HR tools tactically based on business strategy
* Solid influencing and relationship building skills with the ability to adapt communication style to be effective at all levels
* Demonstrated initiative and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple priorities
* Continuous improvement ability to identify new ways to be effective and efficient
