The Opportunity
As a Lead Applications Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining high-quality applications and integration solutions.
This role involves close collaboration with customers and technical teams to translate user needs into effective software solutions.
You will lead the development practice by setting and monitoring standards, identifying opportunities for improvement, and enhancing the overall capabilities of the development practice.
Responsibilities
Planning and Implementation:
* Drive strategic goals through effective planning and timely task execution.
* Solve problems creatively and escalate risks as needed.
* Engage actively in team activities and collaborate to optimize outcomes.
Application Development:
* Convert business and technical requirements into software designs.
* Collaborate to define requirements for new and existing applications.
* Write clean, reusable code, perform thorough testing, and manage deployments.
* Follow development standards and create technical documentation.
* Assess and enhance existing code, applications, and DevOps processes.
Leadership:
* (Lead by example to meet development practice expectations.
To Be Successful
You will have:
* 5+ years of experience in software or integration development (C#, .NET, .NET Core).
* Experience in leading teams and coaching individuals.
* Proficiency in designing and building with Azure services (APIM, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Function Apps).
* Experience with API development and management using REST/JSON, Web Services, .NET Web API, OAUTH2.
* Strong understanding of integration architecture patterns (e.g., Clean Architecture, Microservices).
* Knowledge of application and API security controls (e.g., OAuth, Azure B2C, Identity Server).
* Experience with MSSQL Server and GIT source control.
* Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM development and administration.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Power Platform.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.
Experience with Terraform IAC.
Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Lean development practices.
