About the Role:
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team at Yakimono, a high energy Japanese-inspired eating house. The ideal candidate will be driven and passionate about cooking, with experience in a la carte environments and Japanese cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
* E nsure the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively
* Train and coach Cooks ensuring quality and consistency of products
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie in an a la carte environment
* Japanese cuisine experience advantageous
* Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
* Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
* Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
* Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of food safety standards
* Full-time availability
