You will be responsible for designing and conducting clinical studies of our products as well as in research areas of infection control.The essential responsibilities of this role are:Apply knowledge of regulatory standards, guidelines and/or literature to design clinical studiesContribute to publication strategies and drive clinical study designOversee the development of clinical testing protocols, study procedures and statistical analysis plansAssist with identification of investigators and site selection nationally and internationallyLiaise with external stakeholders including clinical research organisations, statistical consultants and principal investigatorsReport internally on the progress and findings of studiesExperience with Quality Management Systems and documentation would be highly regardedAbout youYou will have a background in microbiology, epidemiology, or biochemistry with solid experience in designing and running clinical studies, ideally within a commercial setting. You will be part of a highly collaborative cross-functional team but will be comfortable taking ownership of your projects with minimal supervision. Your high-level communication and presentation skills will be essential to build and maintain a strong and diverse internal and external network of stakeholders.Essential skills and experience:Experience within a commercial product research and development setting, ideally in infection control or microbiologyAt least 5 years' experience in clinical research including protocol development, statistical analysis, data collection and study reportsPost-grad qualification in a life sciences research discipline (or similar commercial experience)Experienced with laboratory procedures and equipmentOutstanding interpersonal and relationship building skillsExceptional written, verbal and presentation skillsAn agile, flexible and proactive mindset to master a fast-paced environmentAbout usNanosonics is a global medical device company specialising in infection prevention technology.
