The Financial Accountant is responsible for contributing to the delivery of financial reporting, financial accounting and management accounting solutions.
You will also be assisting the team in financial analysis and modelling of large and complex data to resolve items identified and devise sustainable financial solutions for the organisation.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Key activities of this role include:
4. Deliver timely and accurate balance sheet and operating statement general ledger account reconciliations
5. Contribute to the successful achievement of the Units corporate objectives by providing accounting and analytic support and advice
6. Manage and protect Councils financial resources through effective internal controls within the units area of responsibility.

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $82.9k to $99.5k per annum dependent on skills and experience + 11% superannuation.
A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role,with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available
