The role
We are currently looking for multiple enthusiastic and strong performing HD Fitters to join our Field Service team.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be performing inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs of a range of specialist mining equipment. Including but not limited to;
1. Surface Drills (Boom and Rotary)
2. Underground Trucks
3. Underground Loaders
4. Underground Development and Production Drills
5. Ancillary UG equipment
6. Hydraulic repair and troubleshooting
7. Electrical repair and troubleshooting
8. Automation setup maintenance and troubleshooting
9. OEM Training and support
The role will work on a 7/7 roster out of Adelaide.
Areas of responsibility
10. Perform fault diagnosis, maintain, and repair mining equipment
11. Identify faults in the electrical and mechanical configuration of various mobile systems
12. Maintain inspection test reports and documentation
13. Support technicians from other regions and assist in training
14. Adhere to all policies & procedures especially the EHS policies
15. Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously
16. Assist with machine audits/inspections
Your Profile
17. Relevant Trade Qualification
18. Experience maintaining surface drilling (boom and rotary) and underground drilling/Load and Haul
19. Valid Driver’s License (compulsory)
20. Strong customer service and communication skills
21. Flexible to work with customer requirements, procedures, and safety policies
22. Positive attitude and a high level of determination to achieve targets set for customer satisfaction
23. Ability to work unsupervised
