Lamel Weddings has an available role for a new wedding decorator for the ongoing wedding season starting 2025. We specialise in custom wedding designing and decorating throughout Sydney, with occasional weekend away for out of area weddings.
Your role would include:
(from our Hornsby based warehouse, minimum 2 days per week)
* Client liaison and consultations, quotes and invoicing
* Wedding day preparation including props, flowers etc., and also client/venue communication
* Opportunities to design and create floral arrangements (not a requirement) if this sparks joy in you
(from on location, Sydney based - out of area weddings are not an essential requirement for this role, must be available to work weekends)
* On the day installation, set up & styling
* Client, venue & other vendor communication where necessary
Installations can include heavy props and sometimes the requirement to climb a ladder, so you should consider yourself able to complete these tasks.
As installations are away from our warehouse location, a driver's license is an essential part of this job to travel using our company van.
Wedding days are generally Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and work days are allocated 2 months in advance.
Our small business is family-run, and we are a fun & energetic team looking for someone with spark & enthusiasm to make things beautiful. As we are in communication with our couples for sometimes up to 1-2 years before their ‘big day’, we are seeking someone who has a desire for long-term employment.
