Job Description: The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria's largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, subacute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. The Cardiology Department at the Royal Melbourne Hospital is a major tertiary and quaternary referral centre, with particular strengths in interventional Cardiology, electrophysiology and pacing, and adult congenital heart disease. The Department is affiliated with the University of Melbourne with major interests in arterial grafting, offpump bypass, valve repair, aortic and adult congenital surgery. The position would be suitable for a Cardiologist with major commitment and track record in clinical Cardiology. This fixed term, appointment 7 hours per fortnight is to participate in the echocardiography service, transthoracic and transoesophageal and our Congenital Cardiac Clinic at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, City campus in Parkville.
