Smart Energy Group is a full-service renewable solar energy company servicing Australia wide. They design and install bespoke solar solutions that reduce the energy costs of Australian households and businesses whilst improving Australia's green footprint.
They seek an experienced National Sales Manager to join their team in Byron Bay, NSW.
The Role
The role of the National Sales Manager will lead our sales initiatives and drive growth across the country. The National Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and increase market share for our solar products and services. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the solar industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
This is for a full-time role with an annual salary at $140,000 plus performance bonuses and superannuation. This role will be based in their Byron Bay office.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive growth and profitability while aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
2. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a nationwide sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and collaboration.
3. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to inform sales strategies.
4. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Sales Forecasting: Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to monitor performance and adjust strategies as needed.
6. Training and Development: Design and implement training programs for the sales team to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement skills.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and product offerings.
8. Performance Metrics: Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and team performance.
Requirements
1. At least 4 years of previous experience as a Sales Manager in the Renewable Energy industry is essential
2. At least 4 years of proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
3. At least 4 years of experience with digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing
4. At least 4 years of proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track customer interactions, sales processes, and forecast sales
5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
