Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues - maintaining open communication and collaboration Provide individualized support and guidance to children to promote their social emotional, cognitive and physical development Create engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs, interests, and abilities of all children Document children's learning and development, using observations and reflections to inform planning and assessment Support and mentor other educators, including providing feedback and professional development opportunities Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements Qualification & Experience Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA Minimum 12 months experience working as a lead educator or similar role in an early childhood education setting Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant legislation and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team of educators Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Current First Aid Certification ( Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training) About Company Julia Creek offers the ultimate outback experience, serving as the perfect gateway to explore the breathtaking wonders of the Australian Outback.
