About the role:
This is a Part-Time (but for the right candidate we can offer Full-Time), Fixed Term until 30/06/2025 opportunity based in Melton within our Child, Family and Community program. The position reports to the Integrated Family Services Coordinator.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Complete initial and ongoing risk and wellbeing assessment and as appropriate consult with Child Protection, Aboriginal and other culturally specific services.
* Provide culturally competent case management support to actively engage with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children, young people and their families, in partnership with early years programs and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander agencies.
* Participate in facilitation of group work with vulnerable children, young people and their families, supporting warm referral and brief intervention work with other services as required, in a timely manner.
* Provide information and advice to stakeholders about the role of Child Protection, The Orange Door, and Integrated Family Services, as well as other referral points.
Requirements:
* Hold a current and valid Driver’s Licence;
* Hold a current and valid Employee Working with Children Check;
* Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
* Hold a valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check;
* Relevant Diploma with substantial experience, including four (4) additional mandatory competencies (top up units).
