Role Overview:The Electrical Engineer will manage end-to-end power system design and analysis, ensuring high standards across HV/LV power systems. Key aspects involve power system modeling (load flow, fault studies, quality analysis), protection coordination, and disturbance analysis. Core Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive HV and LV power system design, including switchboards, control panels, and process instrumentation. Apply national and international standards (AS 2067, IEC 60909-0, AS/NZS 3000) for HV protection systems, switchboard design, and functional safety. Lead internal and external technical discussions, draft project specifications, and produce design documentation. Develop consultancy proposals, considering technical and commercial strategy. Skills and Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 3-6 years of experience (grad-mid level role) or 7-10+ years (mid-senior level role) industrial electrical engineering, with HV equipment and protection system design expertise. Advanced competency in power system design tools, such as PowerTools for Windows or ETAP. Proficient in AutoCAD, electrical schematic reading, Microsoft Office, and technical documentation.
