We are seeking committed and enthusiastic professionals to help us achieve our mission, ‘great care every day for our community’.About the roleThe Townsville University Hospital Psychology Service delivers clinical, health, and neuropsychology services to adult and paediatric inpatients and outpatients of Townsville University Hospital and North Queensland region.The Paediatric Psychologist position is responsible for provision of frontline clinical services to paediatric inpatient wards, outpatient paediatric clinical services and support to multiple paediatric multidisciplinary teams. The position will be required to :Carry out psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention.Conduct clinical and psychometric assessments for children and adolescents.Provide brief psychological interventions and therapy for children and adolescents experiencing emotional difficulties in response to a health condition (e.g. diabetes).What’s on offer?Temporary Full-time up to 02 / 11 / 2025 (with the possibility of extension - not exceeding 2 years).Remuneration package of up to $11,047 p.m., comprising base salary range of $3030.00 - $4453.50 p.f.
