Join our supportive leisure team whose job it is to help people live their best lives — whether they’re on holiday, visiting an attraction or treating loved ones to a special experience.About the OpportunityAn opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and energetic casual Kitchen Attendant, who enjoys working in a large and fast-paced environment, to join our dynamic kitchen team.Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will clock up your step count and actively move through the resort, working in the large main production kitchen, restaurant outlet kitchens, and conference & event space. Your responsibilities will be to:Ensure the kitchen, food preparation & scullery areas are a clean and hygienic work environmentClean dishes, utensils, and equipmentHandle and use chemicals safelyOperate dishwashing equipment & move catering equipmentLifting of heavy items & dispose of wasteDeep clean kitchens & perform duties to a high standardRACV Inverloch Resort is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Our team works a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends & public holidays. Full availability and afternoon-late evening availability is ideal to fill shifts for when we cater for large groups of guests in conferences and events.What you'll need to be successfulPrevious kitchen attending or cleaning experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar environment essentialPrevious experience using a commercial dishwasher advantageous, general knowledge of catering equipment, cleaning and hygienic kitchen proceduresAbility to work under pressure, to deadlines and in a fast-paced environmentWork well with others in a team environment, display a friendly positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learnStrong verbal communication skills, be organised and demonstrate good time management skillsCan take direction and follow instructions or work independently & show initiativeThe ability to perform the physical requirements of this role including comfortably lift up to 20kgs and performing repetitive manual tasks safelyExcellent personal presentationSafe food handling certificate, desirableFull working rights in AustraliaWe are offeringCompetitive hourly rate + penalties on weekends & evenings + superExclusive Employee BenefitsEmployee of the Month RecognitionUniform + free parkingThe RACV differenceBe part of a team who cares.
