Multiple casual positions availableBased at our Youth Residential Rehabilitation Service in TraralgonSCHADS Level 3 + increase your take home pay with salary packaging benefitsAbout the programOur Gippsland Youth Residential Youth Rehabilitation Program (GYRRP) provides a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week residential service to young people aged 16-25 who are experiencing concerns relating to their drug and alcohol use.Your new roleAs an AOD Support Worker, you will actively contribute to the provision of a safe and hospitable environment for young people voluntarily seeking withdrawal and/or respite from the acute use of alcohol and/or other drugs.As a key member of the team, you will:Support the delivery of harm minimisation education and information sessionsDeliver therapeutic interventions to young people undertaking withdrawalAssist in the development of individual treatment plans, making referrals, completing discharge summaries and other administration tasksAssist with meal preparation/ordering, general maintenance of the facility, undertaking laundry duties and transporting young people when requiredBenefits of working at UnitingOur work isn’t easy, but it matters.
