About the Position:
We are seeking a proactive, collaborative and adaptive Strategic Asset Manager responsible for developing asset management frameworks, strategies, policies, procedures and systems that provide governance and performance monitoring for the Department for Environment and Water's infrastructure assets.
This role will have an active involvement in the development of the department's corporate insurance arrangements.
The successful applicant will possess strong skills in fostering collaboration across various stakeholders, and providing practical solutions and risk-based advice to senior Managers and Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement asset management frameworks, strategies, policies, procedures and systems.
* Provide technical advice for medium and longer-term strategic planning of assets.
* Contribute to the development of the department's corporate insurance arrangements.
* Foster collaboration with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
