Job Description
Are you a skilled and experienced Maintenance Coordinator looking for a new opportunity? As our Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day maintenance activities onsite. Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, you will ensure the safety of our maintenance team and contractors while coordinating and prioritizing their work.
You will also be responsible for managing our CMMS system (MEX), generating work orders and PMs, and storing important documents. In addition, you will have the opportunity to implement lean principles and cost-saving initiatives, schedule maintenance work in collaboration with our operations team, and ensure compliance with both company and Australian standards. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you provide solutions and schedule work for improvement opportunities identified during our monthly auditing process.
To excel in this role, you must have completed a mechanical or electrical trade and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial environment. Your commitment to safe and quality work practices is essential, as is your possession of a current Australian driver's license and mode of transport. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must, as well as exceptional scheduling abilities.
Experience with CMMS software and a sound understanding of relevant standards and regulations are also required. We are looking for a proactive team player who is willing to learn and collaborate with trades, technicians, and suppliers on a technical level. In return, we offer a permanent full-time position with a 38-hour workweek, day shift from 6am to 2pm.
