About the Role;
4. Ensure accurate demand forecasts: Determine methodologies, monitor performance, and take action on exceptions for all Woolworths Group stores and products.
5. Optimise forecasting systems: Maintain and optimise key inputs, tune parameters, and review data settings to improve accuracy.
6. Model and implement new methodologies: Assess benefits of new algorithms and settings, and drive their implementation.
7. Support supply and network planning: Provide accurate forecasts for efficient inventory and order management.
8. Influence sales and operational outcomes: Contribute to improved sales and operational performance for all Woolworths Group retail businesses.
About you
9. Statistical Expertise: Strong background in time series analysis, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
10. Communication Proficiency: Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for diverse audiences.
11. Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish trust with stakeholders at all levels.
12. Improvement Focus: Driven to deliver continuous improvements based on data analysis, communication, and change management.
13. Technical Skills: Ability to manage and analyse large datasets and systems for informed decision-making and performance enhancement.
