We employ more than 2,000 people across a portfolio of farming sites, high-tech production facilities, research, corporate offices, and national logistics operations.What you will doProviding injury management advice and assistance to site Return to Work Coordinators RTWC, site managers, and team leaders.Analysing injury data to monitor accident and incident trends and prepare reports as necessary.Providing support to external SIRA and Insurer inspectors/auditors.Maintaining a professional and consultative relationship with relevant WHS Business Partners, elected Health & Safety Representatives, and WH&S Committee members.Assisting to conduct incident and accident investigations (ICAM).Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers in relation to Workers Compensation practices and regulations.Conduct monthly and quarterly claims management reviews with the insurer.Ensure Return to Work Programs are documented and implemented for each injury.Maintain and implement Perfection Fresh Australia’s early intervention program.Maintain workers compensation claim files.Reviewing and updating relevant Policies, Procedures (SOP), internal documents and forms relating to injury management and Workers Compensation.Maintain the Return-to-Work Program in accordance with SIRA guidelines.Assisting in the management of return-to-work claims and rehabilitation processes.What are the essentialsMinimum of 3 years’ workers compensation experience preferably in a fast-moving manufacturing/blue collar environment.Return to Work Coordinators Certificate or willing to obtain.Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.Demonstrated understanding of WH&S related legislation, standards and processes.Demonstrated capability to co-ordinate injury management and return to work activities.Attention to detail and a collaborative team-based approach.Prepared to travel interstate.Who will be successful for this roleExperience in co-ordinating with the insurers nationally including claims reviews and appointment of rehabilitation providers.Good understanding of SIRA Guidelines including its equivalent in other states.Knowledge on Lost, Prevention and Recovery model.3 - 5 years claims management experience.Strategic thinker and problem solver.
