Summary about the Role: Provide IT support to Cognizant Internal business team and work collaborated with different IT offshore team to solve any IT related problem.
Report into APAC IT manager, Internal service provider for Cognizant IT team.
On Your Day to day, You'll Find Yourself: Serve as break/fix technician for a wide variety of user technologies in the related practices of end user computing.
Manage and prevent escalation on IT from Singapore locations.
SLA control, Driving & Monitoring Queue for ticket closure.
Incident Management and Request fulfilment through ServiceNow Portal.
IT Inventory management and IT asset life cycle management.
Provide physical hands and feet support towards IT stuff movement in the location, including IT devices in storeroom and Server room.
Act as Technical SME to own any IT related problem for the location and track for closure.
Act as POC for all 3rd party vendors towards End user devices (Laptops/Monitors/Video Conference unit/printers/mobile phones etc.)
Report IT infra outage to offshore network/server team and provide H&F support to the offshore team, immediately onsite support may require in off hours in case of emergency.
On demand support needed for planned Maintenance and activities during off hours or weekend in a rare scenario.
Travel occasionally may be required in a very rare scenario to support nearby locations.
To Set You Up For Success, Your Experience Has Been Around: Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems like Windows & Mac OS and imaging laptop.
Technical support in Application software for Desktops/Laptops on both Windows and MAC OS.
Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and TCP/IP ports HTTP, HTTPS and file sharing.
Familiar with MFP configure and printer server.
Able to troubleshoot MS office related issues and have some knowledge on O365 Intune environment for both Windows and MAC Assets.

Client interfacing and Vendor management skill along with experience of handling VIP support.
Work on End point compliance (Control parameters –/AD /Anti-Virus –MS definder / MBAM - Bitlocker / SCCM/DLP/Nexthink/Avecto) Physical cables patching knowledge – Phone Voice and LAN Data.
Excellent Soft skill, Communications skills (Voice & Email) to handle global customers Ability to perform in adverse situations.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices and use of issue/problem tracking system.
VNET / Cisco Video Conference support Rack and Stack Server and Network Equipment Ticket monitoring and closure (SNOW / Remedy) Verbal communications, Ability to effectively interact with peers and managers, especially for non-technic person.
